The Era of Self Made Artists

We find ourselves in a very unique time. Never before has it been this easy for upcoming artists to crank out work and get their name out there. It’s been a beautiful thing to see unfold and despite what some may say, the formula is here for good. There’s no going back at this point, in fact it’s going to be the exact opposite, further expanding this new artist-fan connection.

Fuegoboof is another performer in a long line of Florida born/ self made rappers. Having made “No Option” in his very own living room. Taking into account the fact that he just turned nineteen is a cherry on top but the song was great before learning that. Although the competition grows day by day, Fuegoboof sets himself apart with his very own sound; pulling from inspirations like Lil Wayne, Sade, and Lil Keed. The biggest sole comparison

would be Lil Uzi Vert but that doesn’t do justice to either party.

Fuego has a much more laid back approach. Switching up his flow ever so slightly to keep a

constant change of pace but a consistent melody all throughout. Coming in at only two minutes and four seconds it creates a vortex of a song. Pulling you in for every moment and providing an all encompassing happiness. This is the type of song you just bob your head and smile to. Perfect for summertime and nightly drives. Also sitting in the producers’ chair for some of his own tracks, the sky’s the limit for Fuegoboof. Check out his newest single “No Option” on SoundCloud now.
